Becoming Real Friends

I have been blogging for over 4 years (most of that time using another host).

Back when I first started blogging, I met my friend Molly. We talked for a while through our blogs and we had a lot in common. We were also both pregnant with our first babies who were due about 3 months apart from each other and were both boys!

We then quickly realized that we lived within 20 minutes of each other. So we decided to meet.

Our friendship quickly turned from an online friendship only, to a long term friendship- Molly came down a few times to visit us while Joshua and I were in the hospital. She also photographed his viewing and funeral. She has become a good friend and a constant support for me. Not to mention that her kids are super cute and our boys give each other some fierce competition on the Wii!

After meeting Molly, I've not been afraid to meet other bloggers in real life. Most of them have become my best (in real life) friends.

Those that I have met have included:

Becky C.
Tiffany H.
Tanya R.
Beth W.
Matt and Sarah H.
Kim and Jeremy W.
Kirsten and James P.
Dana S.
Kristen G.
Lyndsay G.
Leslie M.

There will soon be a few more names added to that list as other "meetings" are currently being planned.

This just goes to show that you guys mean more to me than just some names on a computer. Your support, love, and friendship means the world to me. I love meeting new people and I hope someday to be able to meet you! :o)

If you live in the Huntington/Fort Wayne area and would like to get together, I'm always up for something to do! :o) Just send me an email, tweet, or message and we'll figure out a time to meet!

We will also be in the Chicago area visiting family over Christmas- if you are in that area and want to get together, let me know and we'll see if we can make it work! :o)

I moved from that area in 1976, but if I was still there I would LOVE to meet!

There is a little something from me to you that should be arriving at your house any day!

Love, Christine
