You would never guess, by the cake and card that I got that I turned 27 and not 17.

Then we went for a Starbucks run for my peppermint mocha. Double yummmmmmm......
My parents were kind enough to get me a coffee maker to help feed my coffee/caffiene addiction, and Shane was thoughtful enough to get external speakers for my laptop. (When I'm in the kitchen cooking, I have the laptop in with me listening to Pandora and I can hardly hear it just through my laptop speakers)
In all, I would say it was a good birthday. The best part were the tiny little kisses throughout the day from Caleb, Hannah, and Shane.
It was also a bittersweet day of celebrating another year of my life. Although, 26 was quite possibly THE worst year of my ENTIRE life, it was also the year of the most growth and love. I'm just hoping that 27 will be a little bit less "exciting."
Hopefully 27 will be a little bit more calm.

Happy Birthday Jill! This may sound strange, but all my life, I though 27 would be a great year, I couldn't wait to be 27 and that year just HAPPENED to be the year I met my husband and everything "fell into place". Ahhhhhh.......27!

I thought about you yesterday and just knew your husband would spoil you rotten :-). The twilight cake is frickin awesome. I love that there was your favorite ice cream and coffee creamer next to it. Your addictions all in one room :-).
And I just discovered Pandora too, played only Christmas music yesterday, it was great.
