After receiving some news recently, Shane and I have spent a lot of time praying in between some really serious conversations.
I know I have been extremely cryptic over the last few weeks, but my lack of details is for the good of our family and possible actions that we may be taking in the near future. (nothing related to Joshua- just so you know.)
After the news that we received, Shane and I have been crying out in desperation to God. We have been pleading for Him to be evident and for His peace to wash over us. We have been asking for Grace and Truth to be shown in the situation.
But I'm struggling. I'm struggling with the most severe bitterness and anger I have ever felt in my life. I am struggling to keep my mouth shut and offer grace instead of anger. I'm struggling more with grace now than I did when we were attacked after Joshua's death. This entire situation (once again, not at all related to Joshua's death) has my blood boiling, and I'm ready to explode.
Our family is once again under attack from a completely new angle. Please pray that God opens doors for us to get out of this awful, awful situation. Please pray with us that we can glorify God through it all, and offer grace and truth to those who want to hurt us. Please pray that we continue to feel God holding us and protecting us through it all.

Just a word of encouragement from "the boss"... Jesus said: "In this world you will have many troubles but take heart! I have OVERCOME the world." John 16:33

Oh honey! So many prayers coming your way. Sending you Peace and, of course, all the love in the world.
You know I'm always praying. Me and you...we're like a teeter totter....I get a break from insanity, you get a dumpload of it, you get a small break and I'm drowning. God is so good though, isn't He? To create friendships and love and to show His truth and grace through it all...good times and bad times? I'll be emailin' ya soon. Just finally got to a computer for the day... *hugs*
I found your blog through Joshua's story, my daughter Evelyn had a similar heart defect and too passed away from it. Since then I have become hooked on your writing, and following your family and your experiences. (long way of saying, long time reader, first time commenter)
I am praying for you, that you'll find peace and comfort, and that whatever the situation is will resolve itself quickly (without too much stress on your part)
Praying for you and your family as always, Jill!
Praying for you all to find strength, comfort and peace. And above all that God will provide very clear direction and answers.
standing in agreement with you!
Praying.
On it.
