I received a card in the mail today.

I took a deep breath.

I read it.
Tears flowed freely.
1532 ounces of Joshua's milk donated
to the Indiana Mother's Milk Bank.
As if that little boy didn't do enough in his short little life.
He's saving other babies' lives in his death.
Oh how I miss that sweet baby of mine.

What a wonderful gift you and Joshua have been able to give.
So bittersweet. I can only imagine how painful this is, but what a blessing to be able to help other babies.
Hugs!
Such an amazing gift, you must be proud of yourself and your precious son.
Such a wonderful gift, Jill. He will/is remembered by so many.

Jill,
I imagine that so many moments are filled with echoes of those far too brief days...This echo, this reminder of Joshua's blessings and your gift, is beautiful.

What a wonderful testament of you and Shane's love for Joshua by helping others!
He's a little hero. He must get that from his mommy. xoxo
