Super Power

We have all, at one time in our lives, dreamed of having a super power. I always wanted to be super fast and quiet, so I could sneak around and no one would know it! I dreamed of sneaking into the kitchen at lightening speeds, steathly creeping into the freezer and very quickly stealing a piece of the forbidden Market Day cookie dough balls.

Well, I'm pleased to brag to you all that I actually have a super power. Seriously.
According to dictionary.com a super power is defined as "power greater in scope or magnitude than that which is considered natural or has previously existed."

My sense of smell is my real life super power and it is brought on by pregnancy. My sniffer can sniff something from a mile away. It has the ability to knock me off my feet and overwhelm me to the point of getting a headache.

My new supersenstive nose can smell a dirty diaper from outside of the house. The smell of soap in the shower is enough to make me choke. Leftover food or garbage? It causes me to to eject the contents of my stomach through my mouth; or at least come close to doing so.

Don't get close to me with your minty gum. It will make my eyes water. Don't let me cut onions without gloves, the lingering smell on my hands makes me sick. Don't leave a washrag sitting in the sink. I won't ever be able to do dishes ever again! My beloved Country Apple lotion from Bath and Body Works? That "voluptious blossom blend with ripe apples in a rustic orchard" makes my stomach ripe with rustic blending of all of it's contents.

So, be warned. When you see this schnoz of mine. Stay away. You don't want to invoke the consequences of my super powerful nose!

(this picture makes me laugh! look at how serious I look! haha!)

That's your fake serious face. I can tell! :) Nice superpowers. You are lucky you weren't at my house last night when I was throwing away some super smelly leftovers. Bleck. Love ya!

You should be a stand up comedian, Jill! You are so funny, and I love it. I'm glad you haven't lost your sense of humor. So this was the beginning of a new and glorious day. Love ya.

LOL! This is great! I never got the bionic nose thing during any of my pregnancies. I guess that can be a good thing though....

Have a great day!!
