Fresh Squeezed Lemonade

Who doesn't love it?

Here is a simple recipe for you to enjoy.

(Get ready for a good arm workout if you don't have an electric juicer!)

What you need:

25-30 lemons
2-3 cups of sugar
2 cups of water

Squeeze lemons with an electric juicer or by hand with a good old fashioned juicer. This will produce about 2 cups of juice.

In a small sauce pan, bring to boil 2 cups of water. Add sugar and stir continuously until the water becomes a syrup. (this is the trick to making a well blended lemonade! Don't just add sugar to the lemon juice!)

In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice and sugar syrup and stir until well mixed.

Add more water to the pitched until you reach the desired sweetness.

Add some wedges of fresh lemons.

Serve over ice.

Enjoy!

depending on the amount of water you add, this recipe makes between 1-2 gallons.
