Kirsten...

Understands the gravity of my loss, and I understand the gravity of hers.

Understands what it's like to hold a baby as he takes his last breath.

Understands that time no longer has the same meaning that it used to.

Understands the small things that lead to tears.

Understands complete trust and surrender to God.

Understands how good it feels to laugh.

Understands the emptiness.

It feels so good to have someone who understands. Someone who loved just as fiercely. Someone who lost so completely.

Y'all don't sit there and blog all day, OK?? Go see those guys throw fish or something. Go in your sweats with your hair undone to a coffee shop without computers and sob like crazy. I love you.

God Bless you both! It's great to hear you each have someone to relate to and grieve with that has an understanding. I pray that you both are better able to find peace and a bit of healing through each other and God.

I'm taking a break from blogging and facebook but I think about you and Joshua ALL the time and I hoped there would be an update :) I'm so happy you and Kirsten have each other during this time. I hate that you both know what it's like to lose a child, but it really makes me happy that you've found someone to offer so much support!!

I hope your time together helps both of you heal a little bit :)

Praying for you and Kirsten today. May you find comfort and peace with each other. May God shine down on you and richly bless your new friendship. May He ease your pain and help your memories shine as a blessing to Him and a loving tribute to your sons.

Friendships grow from our experiences. It warms my heart to know that a friendship grew out of something so devastating. I hope you enjoy your time together and remain lifelong friends.
