Quick update: joshua is out of surgery and back in his room. He is not on ecmo, and is doing amazingly well. Hoping to have his chest closed by tomorrow.
Wonderful news. Definitely make sure to start getting some rest now that surgery is over - before you know it Joshua will be home and you'll be getting used to being a family of 5
We will keep praying that the next 24-48 hours go smoothly, that they can close his chest, and that his healing continues so you can get him back in your arms.
I am praying for your family and little Joshua. We've been in your shoes and know that surgery and then next few weeks can be very hard. We now have a fiesty two and a half year old who is doing well with her half a heart. God is so good for every moment that he allows us with our special children. Keep clinging to Him. Angie

Praise the Lord that he is doing so well! I will keep praying! Sending so many ((HUGS)) your way!
Great news! Praying his recovery goes as smooth as his surgery...better if possible.
So glad to hear! Praying that he continues to recover quickly and with no complications. Hopefully you can rest too.
