Life is never boring...

I've been taking the kids to daycare this week to get a bit of rest and to get myself and the house prepared for my extended absence.

My week has been the exact oposite of restful. My kids have been rambunctious, (I'm currently typing this with a 4 year old naked bottom in my face with a giggly little boy who thinks it's funny.) My house can't seem to stay clean, I've not slept well, and I've been contracting at the most inconvenient of times.

I picked the kids up from daycare yesterday and the daycare provider told me that there were a few kids out that day because of puking. I whispered a quick thank you to God for not allowing my kids to get it. Within 15 minutes of that quiet praise, Hannah started puking in her carseat on the way home. Nice....she puked for the rest of the afternoon until about 10:30 when she finally passed out and slept the entire night. Said puking resulted in having to wash the carseat (straps and all), 3 outfits, the cover of the couch cushion, 2 towels, and all of her bedding (pillow included). It also required 2 baths, lots of 7up and a pkg of crackers. She *seems* to be doing better today. We've been awake for over 3 hours and no sign of the pukies yet. (I know I just jinxed it...)

So, to add to your prayers for our family, please add that we don't get sick. The last thing I want is to be puking and in labor, Shane to get it and not be allowed to be anywhere near me, or for Caleb to be sick while he's staying with grandma and grandpa after we leave on Sunday.

Life really is never boring in the Haskins household!

Oh no!!! Praying that the pukies are on there way out of your home and for GOOD! That is the last thing you need to be worried about right now.

Saying many prayers for Monday! {{{HUG}}}

Chaos is the only word to describe the life of a mom! I have been trying for the last 2 years to clean my house...I give up. Maybe when they all go to school it will be clean...for a few hours at least.

I am praying you all don't get the nasty puke bug. That sounds horrible and especially this close to delivery.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers every day.

Hey, Jill! I have recently been reading through some of your blog, and I would like for you to know that I'm praying for you, your family, and your coming soon addition! I can't imagine the thoughts you and Shane constantly have running through your mind...but, remember that it takes an amazing woman to be the mother of little Joshua. You were specially chosen by our Father to be blessed by this little guy. God sees there is something very special in you to handle this situation. He has great plans for you! The amazing thing is, our mighty and powerful Father has the whole situation in his hands! Please take comfort in this and keep on remembering that you will never be alone through this whole process. I'm pretty excited to meet this little guy that you have been talking so much about! I hope delivery goes well and congratulations in advance! Be blessed!!!
