We promised the kids that we would pull out the camper this weekend
(the one on long term loan to us from Shane's mom).
That plan changed when God brought on the torential rains that covered the area this evening.
Instead of breaking the plans with the kids, here is what we are doing instead:
We moved all of the furniture in the kids room to one side of the room.
We will be camping in the tent in the kids room.
Hooray for us!!!!!
(note my complete and utter sarcasm!)

It's things like that, that really make kids feel important. Moments like those that kids remember. :)
