Sunday Eats

Homemade Chicken Alfredo:
      (Olive Garden Style....sort of.....)

What you need:
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup milk
1 1/2 sticks of butter (heart attack on a plate anyone?!)
2/3 cup mozzerella cheese
1/2 cup parmesean cheese
1 pkg Fettuccine noodles
2 chicken breasts (sliced into small pieces)
2-3 cups broccoli
Pepper

How to do it:
1. Cook fettuccine noodles according to package directions
2. Fry chicken slices in oil in skillet until cooked thoroughly
3. Steam broccoli until pieces are soft
4. In sauce pan, cook milk, cream cheese, butter, mozzerella cheese, and parmesean cheese until boiling. Add pepper to taste

Mix chicken, broccoli, and noodles in large skillet or casserole dish. Pour alfredo sauce over and mix until well blended...

Total Cook Time: approx. 15 minutes

Enjoy!

This was a great recipe that my hubby and I gobbled up. It was very filling and we had leftovers.

To answer your question, I was on Xanga for a short while and read your blog there. I left Xanga because it was difficult to meet new friends there and because it was difficult for my Blogger friends to visit and comment. I saw that you switched over to Blogger. Glad I found you! I hope your little family is doing well and congratulations on #3!

I honestly don't remember what my Xanga name was. I was a member for less than a month. Sometimes I go back and browse blogs in the Married Christian Women blog ring that don't have Sign-In lock. That is how I found out that you moved! :)

Hey. We are making a church cook book. You should totally enter some of these awesome recipes. :) The only catch is that you'd have to preorder (at least) one book...that's $5 now and then $5 when you get it for a total of...$10! And your name would be in it. :)
