Horribly unheatly, but delicioiusly wonderful! Expect to work out after you eat this one!
Haskins' Family Patty Melts
serving size: 4
What you need:
1 lb hambuger meat or 4- 1/4 lb pre-formed hamburger patties
1 pkg swiss cheese
8 pieces of sourdough bread
butter
thousand island dressing
Directions:
1. Cook hamburger patties in George Foreman or skillet
2. Butter one side of each piece of bread
3. Place bread, butter side down, in frying pan or George Foreman to toast
4. Place a piece of Swiss cheese on top of the bread as it fries. It will begin to melt.
5. Place a hamburger patty on top of the cheese. Continue to fry the bread with both cheese and hamburger until bread is golden brown.
6. Place the second piece of fried bread on top of the hamburger patty to make a sandwich.
7. Cut in half and enjoy. Dip sandwich in thousand island dressing or sauce of your choosing.
Goes great with french fries or tator tots!

Better enjoy that while you can. You won't be able to serve that when the baby arrives if it only serves 4. Tee Hee.
